Each fall, the Information Technology Committee works with the IT department on the annual budget for software and hardware requests. The deadline for submitting FY 2022-2023 requests is November 24, 2021. Please know that because of budget cuts, requests are not guaranteed.
We invite you to submit software and hardware requests for campus classroom or lab use beginning in the Fall 2022 semester. The request form should be used for new purchases, upgrades, maintenance, freeware, and any other software and hardware you need in classrooms and labs. Please submit one form per software or hardware request. The information gathered is very important in the planning process for Fall 2022 software and hardware upgrades and installations.
Please note: Requests are prioritized, taking into consideration budgeting restraints and justifications, and not all requests can be funded. In recent years, resources have been awarded to ongoing software needs (upgrades, maintenance, etc.). However, that might not be the case this time around.
Departments looking for new software or hardware are encouraged to submit a request to both the ITC and through the departmental requests. New software and hardware requests will be evaluated and ranked separately from ongoing upgrades and maintenance. This is a relatively new process to give better consideration for new requests.
