P&T / ITC Subcommittee:
- How many faculty members seeking promotion & tenure are using the OneDrive approach? T. Burkholder thinking 10s are using – will check with P&T Committee.
- No concerns so far from DECs; paper portion of process for signatures moving forward is still needed, due to certain signing needs.
Learning Integrity Platform (C. Thomas):

Web Advisory Committee:
- Barnett contacted Faculty Senate President Mark Jackson, who returned it to ITC – should this continue to be a subcommittee of this committee?
- Claffey to reach out to Janice and Chris to get update on what’s happening on website
New Business:
- RFI: Member thought network 3 wired network outages in a month – in Copernicus, but actually campus wide; 4 times in recent months, wireless not down, but wired was down. What happened as momentary power outages created issues. UPS for switches last for 15 minutes – 130 data closets, batteries go down; Questions for Facilities about power situation and suggestion for requests for alerts/notifications beyond IT when power does go out/brown out.
- Discussion of possible IT-related survey: How much interest is there in creating a campus survey about IT? G. Claffey suggests we use EDUCAUSE’s ECAR survey like we did 5 years ago. Puts us into classes by Carnegie. We get a nice results dashboard. He will send C. Menoche the ECAR survey instrument for further discussion. A. Kullgren offered statistics from the IT Help Desk satisfaction survey (conducted by a 3rd-party firm).
Motion to adjourn, 2:15pm:
- Burkholder / S. Jones
